At the Library, we periodically set up a “thematic display” showcasing books and documents from our collection that relate to a particular theme or anniversary. For April 2026, we have chosen to explore the links between Star Trek and the curvature of space-time studied by a number of famous mathematicians.

At the Library of Medicine, the video enlarger is located in the entrance hall and can be freely used throughout opening hours (8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.).

As of January 1, 2024 based on what is defined by the Atto di organizzazione amministrativa e tecnica di Ateneo, the Library of the Sciences School, together with the Library of Medicine and Pharmaceutical School become part of the Medical and Scientific Library Centre.
Please note that the library will be closed from 24 December 2025 to 6 January 2026 for the winter holidays.
Regular opening hours and services will resume on Wednesday 7 January.
From 17 to 21 November, the 7 GenOAweek will take place, a week dedicated to Open Science issues organised by UniGe, IIT, Infn, CNR, and Aib. The event will mainly take place online, on TEAMS.
