The Falcone University Theatre in Genoa presents to the academic community: “Voices of May – Mise en Voix from the University Library Collections”, a series of four dramatised readings organised in collaboration with the University Library System.

At the MFN Science Library - Room 706 - DIMA
Thursday 14 May 2026 - 3.00 pm
Elogio del Libro  by Gino Loria. Introduced by Claudio Bartocci, with Agnese Grazia Ede Ferla, Lisa Marenco, Mafalda Rizzieri and Angela Zinno;

The initiative is led by iF-Lab Permanent Theatre Workshop, directed by Angela Zinno, with performances by those taking part in the theatre workshop. The texts performed are selected from the collections of the University’s libraries: from the Humanities Library to the Library of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, and including the Social Sciences and Polytechnic libraries

The project was launched with the aim of promoting the university’s book heritage and making it more accessible, transforming libraries into vibrant spaces for cultural exchange that are also open to the public. As Angela Zinno points out: “It is a way of revealing what these places hold and helping students appreciate their value.”
