Bibliographic materials owned by the Library may be borrowed with the exception of periodicals, general reference works and special materials.
All internal users of the University of Genoa are allowed to borrow. It is within the Director's authority to accept external users.

You must authenticate yourself in order to see how much you can borrow the books you need!
Also by accessing the catalog as a registered user, you can:
- save your search strategies and results in your electronic bookshelf
- check your loans and reservations
- make reservations online.
if the book you are looking for is already on loan, you can reserve it. When the book is back in the library, you will be notified by an email: it will be reserved for 7 days, after that it will be available again for everyone.
make online renewals:
from "My Account" you can select the loans you want to renew: 7, 21 or 60 days will be automatically added to your loan if no one has made reservations.PLEASE NOTE: Once loans expire, they cannot be renewed.Contact the librarians or renew via the web on time!
