As of January 1, 2024 based on what is defined by the Atto di organizzazione amministrativa e tecnica di Ateneo, the Library of the Sciences School, together with the Library of Medicine and Pharmaceutical School become part of the Medical and Scientific Library Centre.

This means that the two School Libraries while maintaining, as stipulated in the Statute, different policy-making bodies, will embark on a path of optimizing and enhancing services by creating operational synergies
