Is the Library a new environment for you? 
Our aim is to help you get to know and use our services, all of which are free of charge: accessing the Library and using its services is your RIGHT.

SERVICES FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

- Welcome and guidance in the Library: ask at the front desk or email sedevallettapuggia@unige.it. We always reply. 
- Textbook loans: you can borrow up to 10 books at a time for 2 weeks, renewable twice. Find out more. 
- Textbook purchases: if the textbook you’re looking for isn’t available, ask for help: we can purchase it and let you know when it’s on the shelf. Ask us to buy textbooks.
- Getting started with the Unigeprint service (300 free photocopies to print lecture notes or whatever you need). Find out more. 
- Help with using the online catalogue at unopertutto.unige.net – ask at the front desk : you’ll need to check the catalogue to see which books we can provide
- Free Library Mobile app: all library services on your smartphone 
- ‘PC TO GO’ service: the library can lend out laptops for a limited period
- The library is a safe and pleasant place to spend time. The tables are equipped with power sockets for charging your laptop. We cater for students with disabilities. We are open Monday to Friday, 8.30 am–7.00 pm
